You will have heard, or be hearing, from Judy that this week's classes I have had to cancel.
Jennifer and I have been suffering from this ghastly fluey cold going round. It is not pleasant to say the least. I will spare you the gory details, but suffice it to say I couldn't begin to attempt the rail journey nor indeed speak for that length of time I(hence ruling out zooming as well).
We thought we were over the worst yesterday but both feel grim still this morning, so right decision I feel.
However, I fully expect that by next week, 21st, I shall again be bright eyed and bushy tailed.
NB We won't miss a class as the cancelled one will now take place at our half term on 28th October.
Isorry ou’re unwell, William ( and your wife too I now read).
I thought you were heading that way when I saw you last week.
Have you checked with a lateral flow test that it’s not the Covid virus? The symptoms after vaccination are more like a cold than the classic three or four that the government is still putting out. I wish you a better week end and enjoy the chicken soup -The universal panacea for all colds!
Best wishes,
Ingrid
