  2. History of an island - Hispaniola Divided between Spain and France.

  3. French Saint-Dominque (later Haiti) in west of Hispaniola

  4. The Rebellion against the French led by Toussaint Louverture

  5. The twist and turns of the rebellion until freedom for Haiti obtained in 1803

  6. High hopes in free Haiti dashed and problems persist into our day
