REVISED synopsis for Tomorrow's morning class

When I looked again at what I intended to speak about tomorrow I began to feel it was inadequate, and dare I say a bit boring - so I have totally changed it (well, the history doesn't change; we still left The EU in January) but the story will be told differently.

Thus

  1. An historian's overview 1945-75 - 1975-2021 - 2021 onwards

  2. The Hokey Cokey of British Politics 1973-2021

  3. Churchill's Europe speech in Zurich September 1946

  4. 1975 Referendum

  5. The Long Road to Leaving beginning with Mrs Thatcher

  6. The Blair Interlude: Success to Failure

  7. The depressing leadership years: From Brown to Cameron

  8. 2016 Referendum

  9. Where now? What does 'Global Britain' mean?
